That results in this communication having to be repeated over and over. Even if the squad lock had a popup saying "Your squadlock wore off" there would still be the constant need to go back and refresh the lock, and make sure everything is still there.Īlso, our message might only get to the players that are currently on, not the players that log on a few moments afterwards. The wrench prevention and squad locks only last so long, having to babysit the timers everytime is a hassle.

Telling your team in region "The stuff at H9 is our resource stockpile, please leave it for us as we are using it for an important op." might make the nice players leave it alone, but it's also a giant message to the griefers going "Oh boy, I can really fuck these guys over by stealing their shit."Ĭlans HAVE to hide their stocks, because they can't trust that everyone will behave. I will return to this discussion after we have seen the impact of the operation stockpile feature.Ĭommunication can only do so much. I feel like their rendition is worth at least a shot and it's good that the dev's are considering that organized operations could use some extra tools to make our lives easier. This is an interesting concept with some degrees of potential for abuse. Because I am 100% convinced that this feature will greatly improve the organization of the game and will provide a positive experience.Įdit: It appears the dev's have considered their own rendition of a feature to reduce the problem of theft with the operation stockpile. I will try to be as comprehensive with this as I can be, and answer any question or concern that people will have with this idea. I will occasionally clean up this document if the wording is still unclear or difficult to read. Edit: I Have migrated the details of this suggestion into this google document for ease of reading.
